December 22nd 2017 Wellons.RU successfully finished the project of the continuous belt-type hardening furnace “LOI” full refractory change at Steel Plant located in Yartsevo city. The job has been accomplished at the terms EPC contract incl engineering, design and procurement of the refractory materials, contractor’s works for complete tearing down of the old refractory and with installation of the new one.
During the period between 23 Nov 2017 and the 9thDec 2017 approx 100MT of the old refractory were moved out when 84 MT of new monolithic refractory was installed. Proactively made advances of the board lining as well as good cooperation with refractory materials plant of origin JC “BKO” allowed this project be turned around in only 18 days(!).
