On December 12, 2022, Wellons.RU LLC completed the project to replace the refractory lining of the arch of the boiler as part of the modernization project for steam boiler No. 2. These works were carried out under the terms of the EPC contract, including engineering, selection and supply of materials, as well as work on tearing down the existing (old) lining and lining work on the installation of a new refractory for the arch.
Due to the use of highly qualified lining specialists, as well as the help of the plant's specialists in solving organizational issues, this lining replacement project was completed in 14 days, including all types of work within the framework of this project (tearing down of the existing refractory, installation of new refractory and heat-insulating products, anchors, carrying out restoration works of the arched vault of the boiler furnace, technological manholes, hatch, installation of a cooling fan, installation of metal cladding and other auxiliary works).
