WELLONS GROUP - is the only company in the world that has all the technologies for burning all types of biofuels, from traditional bark and wood waste from wood processing (bark, wood chips, chopping residues, waste from sawmilling, plywood production, waste from deep processing of wood, waste from pulp and paper production) to all types of waste agro-industrial complex (rice husk, sunflower husk, wheat husk, rice and wheat straw, oilcake, ears of corn and stalks, bagasse - wastes from sugar production and many others agricultural waste). We do not offer a universal combustion technology, we offer the best combustion technology for a particular type of biofuel. The high unit capacity of technological or energy boiler plants (from 5 to 350 tons of steam per hour, steam pressure up to 65 bar) allows us to satisfy any requests of our customers for the burning of various types of waste / biofuel.
If you aspire to produce energy from biomass by environmentally friendly method, please contact us. WELLONS manufactures wood-fired boilers and related equipment. Since 1964, Wellons has designed and manufactured more than 370 boilers and biomass energy systems, implemented more than 50 projects of combined heat and power systems. Our technological solutions, a variety of boiler types and designs, allow us to offer you the best solution to meet all the requirements of your production.
The principle of operation is based on the proven technology of burning wood fuel in cyclone-type furnaces on the grate with rotating rolls (Wellons, Inc. know-how). A wide range of steady operation (20-100% of the rated load); low-temperature combustion of fuel; minimal emissions of harmful substances; utilization of a variety of fuels/biomass with up to 65% moisture content; high unit steam output capacity of the plant to 120 MTH – these are the main advantages of our boilers. The reliability of the chosen technology has been confirmed by 377 boilers successfully operating in North America and Russia.
A special feature of WELLONS boilers is the ability to operate on fuel with high moisture content (up to 55% and above). This ability is provided by the boiler design, namely by the use of cell-type furnace system (up to six furnaces per one boiler) and a large-size combustion chamber. Six cell furnaces with a common combustion chamber ensure stable operation of the boiler maintaining its performance and steam parameters (pressure, temperature), even with a sudden change in the fuel qualitative composition, increase or decrease of its moisture content or calorific value. In certain industries, variation of bark waste humidity has a pronounced character, therefore, the use of WELLONS technology has an advantage and is, sometimes, the only solution to a problem (for example, in case of burning production sludge or sewage waste) as compared with shearing grate or fluidized bed boilers. The presentation "WELLONS BOILER DESIGN" demonstrates the technical features and advantages of our systems.
This section provides a description of the equipment, which is included in the scope of "Wellons" supply of one waste incinerator unit (WIU)/boiler with output of 106 MTH of steam. The equipment includes:
This equipment is designed to provide drying of lumber to transport humidity (18%) within 36 hours without warping, cracking and other defects in accordance with GOST, TU. More than 1,300 kilns operate at the largest enterprises in North America.
Here you would find brief presentation of Wellons “know-how” used at kilns’ engineering. Wellons has developed the most significant advance in lumber drying: “CMZ” – Computerized Multizone Control which will monitor and control the entire drying process making the drying more uniform to meet the demand for better lumber. TCS – True Capacity Moisture Meters. This feature continuous the Wellons tradition of providing the best possible lumber dry kilns technology allowing drying of Russian spruce lumber with 50mm thickness down to 18% for 36 hours.
